How does ehow pay
They just want you to follow their guidelines. And most of their guidelines are what you should already be doing if you know how to produce quality content. The eHow editors want the site to have high quality content, of course. Any article you publish on ehow goes live as soon as you hit the publish button.
If the article you publish is low quality, the editors would delete it later. I assume this is because they believe that the article is low quality. This is from 2 months of my articles being live on the site. I have published 11 articles on ehow so far. If you are thinking about you can write on ehow, let me tell you that you can write about almost any topic.
Although, you are required to write about how to do things. You know how to do something, so write about it. Since you have the practical knowledge already, you just have transfer the knowledge into writing, which I guess would not take you a lot of time. If this opportunity sounds like something for you, apply today as Demand Studios is currently hiring both writers and copy editors.

I am a stay-at-home mom that used to be a technical writer for 9 years. Thanks so much for the information. Now I have a way to apply for an opportunity and still stay at home! I was always miserably bored at work because I write really fast and there was rarely enough work to do.
This might be right up my alley! One thing of note, as the post above is misleading…you must meet the reference requirements on each article to support that the topic is thorough and accurate, and the general pool of eHow titles is currently 4,, many of which are barely coherent based on the DMS standards. This low title availability has been this way for months on end.
Once you become a more established writer with Demand Studios, you get access to a broader and deeper pool or titles. However, you have to be invited to write for these special assignments. With writing sites, you should keep your expectations low. If you write a really successful article, you can make a lot of money from it Don't expect to make oodles of money at first -- approach it as a learning process instead. Try different things and see what works.
I was surprised by your post. Did they pay you already? How many articles have you done? I'd like to know, I have an account with them too but I've never submitted anything.
