Where is timbermaw hold quartermaster
By the time you hit that you should have close to feather or more if you had better luck then I did if I even had any. This is the last faction I'm working on for my diplomat and its by far the lamest Comment by Tony Just did it today took me six hours thirty minutes I didn't even get through my Beatles anthology hit exalted in the middle of Maxwell's silver hammer. Comment by Erethzium Just grinded from Hostile up to Honored in about two hours or so, as a Disc priest.
Was only doing it for the enchanting recipes. Comment by peachy Deadwood Headdress Feather's can be looted while in a raid. Comment by taurenmoo I'm doing this now for the diplomat title. When I was halfway to revered with them my guild mate told me that after you get to revered, kills no longer counted. Then cash in the feathers and beads to make the getting to exalted a lot quicker. Comment by Aliok These numbers are indeed correct, as Patch 3. Have fun reaching the achievements! Comment by Random You'd think with all the dirty work we do for the Timbermaw -- killing off their corrupted rivals so they can carry on with their own duties and lives Comment by KassyKins I can tell you from my experience that this achievement is easily do-able at level 80, and very easy to grind, though it may take some time.
They are 20 rep per kill 22 rep for humans. Do not do anything with these yet, I will explain later on, but collect as many as you can, so start grinding! Friendly to Honored This is just a simple grind, you want to keep killing.
I found that for me, killing deadwoods by the tunnel in north Felwood respawned faster and dropped more feathers than the Winterfall. There is also an NPC, Chieftain Bloodmaw in one of the surrounding camps that respawns about every minutes that gives 60 rep 66 for humans , so I just kept making loops around without having to stop. This may vary from person to person though.
You can also kill the Winterfall furblogs. The ones that I found that had the best drop rate were the ones just East of Everlook in Winterspring. If you go through the whole village, you will see a path leading up to a cave. In that cave, another chieftain spawns. You've almost made it!
Revered to Exalted: Pat yourself on the back, your grind stage is over You could have collected beads, feathers, beads, 50 feathers. The combination doesn't matter, but when they add up, you have to have for humans :P If you don't have enough, then go grind again! If you do have enough! Turn them into their respective friendly furblogs, the repeatable quests Beads for Salfa and Feathers for Grazle and you'll get to exalted pretty easily : Additional quests that will give you reputation with Timbermaw Hold: Deadwood Ritual Totem rep Deadwood of the North rep Runecloth rep Speak to Nafien rep Speak to Salfa rep The Root of All Evil must already be exalted Good luck on your grind!
Comment by Statistics: Time: 1 hour, 55 minutes and 46 seconds Total damage done: Feathers obtained: Runecloth obtained: Rare drops: 3 darkmoon cards, two weapons and 4 Living Leggings patterns. Repair bill: 27g 56s 78c Gold looted: 37g 1s 45c Trash vendored: 38g 13s 67c One Defender of the Timbermaw obtained Time wasted: 0 seconds Summary: It's worth it. Without the Quests it takes Feathers from revered to exalted. Comment by Giantfoamhat Workin on this now for my 40th exalted. Found the best spot is East of Everlook.
Close proximity to go vendor all the trash to keep your bags open and good drop rate on beads. Also the highchief is close by. Comment by After completing Timbermaw Ally, giving reputation, you are table to turn in 5 Deadwood Headdress Feather which yields reputation. Comment by gerodash I didn't read every single comment here but I personally found that on my server farming the feathers in the Felwood north section 62,10 roughly..
If others were around I found that bouncing back and fourth in Winterspring from location 32,37 and then 40,43 to be second best. At the Felwood location by the time you ran around killing them all there was a very short wait for re spawn at the first spot you started.
In Winterspring if you start at either one of those spots kill them all then goto the next, the first location should have spawned the NPC's back.
I don't know how it is on other servers but that worked best for me. Comment by I went to check the Timbermaw out today, and am pleased to report that this entire section is now completely out-of-date; turn-ins seem to award significantly more reputation per 5 beads , and Winterfall furbolgs were giving reputation while in Revered.
Comment by Airman Confirmed, btw never start to farm for a rep and leave it for after a patch Comment by Mangzor Since of patch 4. And the mobs keep giving rep after revered. So don't do as I did and farm feathers to get from revered to exalted and then end-up with left Comment by wombaat As of patch 4.
This makes reaching exalted incredibly easy. Many of the quests listed on this page are now extinct. The only other quest Grazle now offers is A Talking Totem , which will give you a good chunk of rep towards Timbermaw as well. Comment by I just "ground" my rep from friendly to exalted in less than two hours after the shattering. The repeatable necklace quest grants two thousand rep for every turn in, and every winterspring furlbong you kill gives you 20 rep.
There are two timbermaws standing outside of the winterspring furlbong camp offering a quest a piece that gives rep between the both of them. Also, the dwarf who is standing by the hot springs right after you walk out of the tunnel offers a quest that grants you rep upon turn in. As an added benefit to grinding this rep there's a chance of the azure whelpling dropping from the mobs in the far north. If you haven't started on the diplomat achievement yet it's a good time to do so.
This is insane. I had pilgrim buff on and farmed up a ton not realizing this, ending up turning in only 50 feathers for rep.. Getting 50 feathers is like 30 minutes of work at Comment by I was getting over 1k Rep each time I turned in a quest. I was getting to turn in the feathers or anal beads. But no feather dropped. Did it in under 2 hours as an 80 DK. Comment by bokiko as patch 4. Lots of the quests have been consolidated and their rep has been increased as well. It was possible to grind from Friendly to Exalted in a single evening of work.
Comment by nagamoon The timbermaw rep has been upgraded it seems, theres lots of new quests and they give decent amount of rep. I am able to turn in 5 of the headdreases feathers for rep, up from Comment by As of 4. Timbermaw Hold: the Quests will get you into Revered they've added a couple, Quest-givers all parked handy-dandy near the objective , after which you can still kill all Furbolgs for additonal 20 Rep per mob - but don't bother too much, the Spirit Beads now grant per turn in haven't checked the feather turn-ins but likely it's the same , you'll be - again - Exalted within mere moments compared to just a week or so ago.
Thorium Brotherhood: the Quests that start from the eastern edge of Searing Gorge will get you into Revered used to be not even Friendly for non-Blacksmiths if I remember correctly , after which the hiked up turn-ins will get you into Exalted in no time. Argent Dawn hook up with the caravan quest line in EPL you won't have much choice as most of the Quests in the zone are apparently linked to this and eventually you'll reach Light's Hope Chapel, talk with a undead guy, whatch your NPC babysitters kill a few mobs and BANG!
Said ghost will then offer two repeatable Quests, one to kill Rattlegore in Strath Undead side, one to collect a book from Scarlet side, each offering 1 to 2k Argent Dawn Rep. All in an all a complete and utter nerf of said Reputation grinds, especially if you did them with level-appropriate toons, and frankly completely uncalled for.
Comment by pik4chu With the changes blizzard made to rep rewards from the quests this is probably now the easiest rep grind in the game. I started fresh with the quests from Gazle, then did the totem ones. Then moved up to the northern npcs and did those three quests plus the drop quest. Saving all feathers and beads. Then went into Winterspring following the chain and did all quests available there including the other drop ones. I did not do the runecloth one didnt need to.
By the time I finished all those quests plus killing a few extra mobs in between travel I had reached revered, following that I turned in the last couple quests and all the feathers and beads I had 26 beads, 31 feathers and it was more than enough to reach exalted, in fact I have 11 extra feathers left over. Blizzard turned this from a hard weekend grind to a lazy afternoon grind. Now on to the next faction! Comment by Sell the feathers who are left over. And when you hand in beads after Exalted you get xp and 40silver for ever 5 you hand in.
After 5 times hand in you get also 1 Guild reputation. I can not find where to hand in the feathers. Any1 know? Nevermind this last 1, i needed to do some new quest, than is can hand them in again. Comment by kennyparker Guide For 4. Time to Exalted: 30min - 1hour 1a. Go to Emerald Sanctuary , Felwood. Complete the quests from Grazle. Speak to Salfa you can pick up a repeatable quest here, but I would advise you only do it once and then continue on with this guide.
The rest you may complete but does not yield Rep with Timbermaw Hold. Killing Rimepelt quest does not give rep either, but it is a 5yrd away quest. Comment by Kilin Grinding right now The Deadwood mobs in Felwood don't seem to be dropping feathers killed over 60 and no feathers yet but in south Winterspring, the Winterfall npc's seem to have a decent drop rate for spirit beads about one in Dunno if it really affects the drop rate or not but for those who don't wish to risk it, Don't turn in this quest till you're done farming your spirit beads.
Every other npc seemed to be dropping beads I have held off on doing this rep for a while due to the continuous grinding that was involved in earlier patches and I'm glad it's so much easier now even with a little grinding.
Comment by grahamiam FYI the grind is much, much faster in Winterspring in my experience. Comment by You can now grind rep with Timbermaw all the way to Exalted through killing mobs.
I got Exalted with them today and was still getting the 20 rep the hole way. Comment by For anyone that's interested, getting to Exalted with Timbermaw Hold has never been easier. Handing in 5 of the Deadwood Headdress Feather grants you rep with them and you can continually hand them in, there is no limit.
Meaning, all you need to do is kill as many Deadwood Furbolgs as you can to get as many feathers as you can and you'll be exalted in no time. You must do two quests first before you can hand them in. The quest giver is right at the north end of Felwood. It's marked as Timbermaw Hold on the map. The quest giver is there and he is also the one who takes the feathers from you.
Also you get 20 rep with every Deadwood Furbolg you kill and that still applies even if you get to Revered. Hope this helped!
It's worth slaying the furbolgs at Felpaw Village 63,0 , 11,4. Comment by thetaxzombie I ground my way up to friendly while turning in only two quests in Felwood, in that time I never saw a single feather drop. I'm going to do the three quests available just prior to the hold itself then continue on and try the prayer beads.
Since Cat I've not seen a single feather. Worked Winterspring for beads, drop rate in the 1 in 4 or 5 range but at least they are still dropping. Comment by Palafied Took me about one morning to get to exalted. Pre-Cata level Comment by monkeysrevenge For those grinding this rep at Winterfall Village: the furlbogs have an abnormally long respawn time.
However, you can pick up the quest Turning the Earth from Tanrir. Use the item you're given for that quest to destroy the totems in the village. So bust the totems with the quest item, kill furlbogs. When you meet the quest objective, abandon the quest and pick it right up again.
This will save much time! Comment by These guys are a huge joke now rep wise. Just powered my 39 to exalted in barely over two hours using a friends 85 lock. Corruption was one-shotting everything and they were respawning crazy fast. Such a breeze now, and as mentioned before, the mobs do give rep from revered to exalted now. Comment by reliq I went from Hated to Exalted with these guys last night in just over an hour or so it seemed; I did a dungeon run midway through on my level 85 DK.
I'll be doing it again tonight on my 85 Paladin and timing it properly. Needless to say, some of my guildies who grinded this rep way back when weren't best pleased with me :. Comment by moopert As someone who grinded the rep old school, I gotta say I do not care in the least if this faction was made easier. They were a stupid grind to begin with and should have been changed years ago. Comment by Ruuglawhar I just did this from hostile to exalted in about 2 hours, few corrections to this though: 22 rep per common deadwood 66 rep for chieftain bloodmaw rep per turn in of 5 deadwood headdress feathers I could not do the repeatable quest until after I completed the 3 quests given by Nafien and Drizle at mouth of cave.
Comment by Almost too easy nowadays. Grinded the feathers in northern part of Felwood - did revered to exhalted today, which took me like 20 mins or something. I just ran around oneshotting everything and looted the feathers :p It'll probably take 2 hours tops to get the entire grind done from hated.
Comment by At lvl 85 I just finished grinding from neutral to exalted in little more than 1 hour. I am a troll and had the guild perk for reputations. Was by far the easiest of reputations to get now.
Quests give quite a bit more than back in the days of classic wow, and farming the turn in items do as well. Also sadly to say that as of the shattering there is no longer any way to obtain Winterfall Firewater. It has been removed as a drop or quest item from all sources in game. Its only likely replacement in popularity would be Elixir of Giant Growth.
Gains stop at the end of Honored. It does not stop at the end of Honored. There is no reputation limit, and his respawn rate is 6 to 8 minutes. Spawns at 36,55 in Winterspring. Killing him will grant reputation up until Revered. Turning in 5 beads to Salfa yields reputation. Comment by Kyrma Just did this on my spriest Death spam , took me 40 minutes to go from unfriendly to exatled. I did the 3 starter quests for Felpaw Village then just killed until I had enough feathers to reach exalted.
As someone stated above, this is "way too easy" now. Comment by Durotardorc Took me about 45mins to go from 0 rep to , Unfriendly to Exalted. Did the quests at the start of the tunnel in Felwood, then moved over to Winterspring and did the ones near the little lake.
Comment by Gryhut I think i got exalted in just about an hour. All i did was hand in a few feathers at the entrance of the timbermaw hold after having completed the quests they gave me. In the furblog village just below, you can also get a quest from the a totem one of the furblogs drop, and by finding the child timbermaw tied up in chains just besides the lake.
Once having finished these quests i think i only did 3 or 4 hand ins of feathers. Otherwise I went through the tunnel to winterspring and did the bead quest there and returned a few extra beads for the repeatable quest. I also did the quest that leads you down to the small camp site a little east of the pass. I can't remember but i think its a female dwarf and she gives you a few quests to do qhich give you a fair bit of rep.
Eitherway, if you just show up there and do the available quests as you see them on both sides of the pass you'll have no trouble gaining rep. I was surprised at how fast i got it. Comment by pctech86 This rep is SO easy to grind now, just completing the repeatable quests giving you rep will skyrocket you to exalted in absolutely no time.
I did this waiting for BG queues and it only took me a few BG's to get exalted started at friendly. Comment by vlaka I have to add that farming the Winterfall Spirit Beads is a very random and very arduous feat. Comment by Kyeld to anyone who was farming this Rep pre-Cataclysm Comment by NouvelleVoix I've just hit revered with Timbermaw Hold, and it appears you still gain rep from killing the Winterfall furbolgs east of Everlook.
Comment by Just to clarify, in order to get the feathers to drop now post-Cata you must complete the quests for either Grazle Emerald Sanctuary in southern Felwood or Nafien Timermaw Hold in northern Felwood , even if you had unlocked them pre-Cata. The pre-Cata quest to unlock the feathers was removed for the game, so you have to do the new quests for one of the NPCs or both, it's good rep in order to unlock them again.
The pre-Cata quests to unlock the warbeads that drop from Winterfall furbolgs was not removed from the game, so if you previously had them unlocked you will still be able to collect them without doing further quests.
On a level 85 I grinded from 0 honored to exalted in a couple hours. Comment by tazar Takes 30 mins for exalted This is just too easy even for my standards. Comment by Barleduq Putting it here so people see it also At least some of them can't be vendored, either. Comment by Foxworth Just did this on my DK. This is an extremely easy farm.
I challenged my friend to go from unfriendly to exalted before he had finished his game of League of Legends. I won the challenge You simply fly to the timbermaw tunnel felwood side.
Do the quests that the furbulogs outside give you. I had to gather about feathers and it took me 25 minutes total to go from Unfriendly to Exalted. Comment by Therulnig Since all the comments say that the grind is very easy post-cata I want to post exactly WHY that is: 1 Killing them gives rep through exalted now.
Ever notice while leveling through now you commonly are killing things and they seem to be respawning as you kill them sometimes on top of mobs you just killed? That is because many mobs now don't have a strict respawn timer. The game basically respawns them as they are killed to make sure some are always up. What this means for grinding the furbolgs- You can literally round up the whole village and turn around and they are all instantly respawned to kill again.
Even the named mob worth 60 rep - I've seen his dead body stacked 5 times before the first despawns. Comment by Contrary to what I've been reading, I just walked through Timbermaw Hold without being attacked, and without previously doing any quests to increase my reputation.
My character is a level 20 Human Paladin. Comment by Jynxter This faction was really easy to get. The beads and feathers get you there fast. Comment by Alwaysmiles If any actually cares about the lore, to be exalted you must prove yourself by driving back the dreaded corrupted Furbolgs, of the Winterfall and Deadwood tribes.
In-game killing these will result in rep, as well as presenting evidence of this, which are the Winterfall Spirit Beads and Deadwood Headdress Feather. Due to other corrupted Furbolg tribes attacking blindly they start off hostile with everyone, and trust very few.
Comment by Malestryx I just recently completed this grind. I did every Timbermaw quest available. It was really easy. Then I just grinded the remaining reputation in Felwood. I chained pulled all the mobs. I was pulling them in groups of They have a super high respawn rate also. It was very quick. I was a level 50 Tankadin at the time.
I think I spent 2. These mobs drop a decent amount of Mageweave. So there is potential to make some additional good. I had a total of 10 stacks that I sold for 20g a stack. Comment by MrVirtualCoder As of patch 5. This will perhaps change in the upcoming patch 5.
Comment by If you're too small a level to do their quests, you're already considered neutral and are allowed unhindered passage through their cavern. Perhaps because you are not considered a threat! The Winterfall Runner s on the other side also have a relatively low aggro range, considering most mobs are so very attracted to the lower levels. Comment by pockets21 They made this rep way to easy to get now.

Just a small correction, you must complete the first kill quest in Felwood and the one in Winterspring in order for the feathers and beads to start dropping, respectively.
Other than that, you indeed can save the two totems, runecloth, mooncloth not worth it imho and I think the second kill quest in Felwood. And if you intend to grind a Frostsaber, well, good luck, you will get exalted Timbermaw as a byproduct.
Just went out last night 11pm ish on our realm with a guildy, and downed a few devilsaurs without any competition. The leathers sell for around 5g each here. Although, I still have one uncompleted quest that means very valuable experience, but after hitting 60… They will be beg me for mercy!
I remember my pain, while I tried to reach their trust only for skipping the cave between Winterspring and Felwood. But this furbolgs made a big mistake….
Gloves are in the 55g region and legs are like Ah, in the end, even if the Devilsaur Items are affordable on your server, the Timbermay Hold recieps make a good addition to your gear. Trinket isnt worth it tbh, I grinded to exalted and it doesnt even attack unless it gets attacked by something. I read somewhere that it bugs out alot when you summon it before you start combat, try summoning it after you already engaged a mob.
Using it before combat starts and swapping was the reason I grinded this trinket to get the few extra deeps.
